The weave allows air and water to pass through, dries quickly after a rain shower, and remains comfortable even in the sun. It was designed by the design studio Hertel & Klarhoefer.

There are three ways to set it up. With the matching frame, it stands freely on the patio – no drilling, no structural modifications required, and you can simply clear it away in autumn. Without the frame, using suspension 1, it hangs from two points and swings straight back and forth, like a swing. Without the frame, using suspension 2, it hangs from a single point and can rotate freely.

Dimensions, weight, load capacity

Version

Dimensions (W × D × H)

Weight

Load capacity up to

Item no.

with frame

150 × 150 × 225 cm

33 kg

150 kg

2758

without frame, with suspension 1

110 × 74 × 92 cm

11 kg

150 kg

2755

without frame, with suspension 2

110 × 74 × 92 cm

15 kg

150 kg

2756

A comparison of the two suspension systems

Suspension 1 hangs from two points. This allows the chair to swing straight back and forth without rotating. Included in the delivery: two outdoor ropes, each approx. 7.50 m long for a mounting height of about 2.25 to 5.00 m, two thimbles, two carabiners, and four adjustment plates.

Suspension 2 hangs from a single point, allowing the chair to rotate freely. Included in the delivery: two outdoor ropes, each approx. 7.50 m long for a height of about 3.0 to 6.0 m, four adjustment plates, two swivel eyes, two thimbles, a stainless steel crossbar, three large and six small carabiners, and three stainless steel chains (one 1 m, two 0.7 m).

Which one is right for you depends on the space: under a beam or in a pergola where there are two mounting points side by side, use suspension 1. If only a single load-bearing point is available – such as a sturdy branch or a single ceiling hook – you need suspension 2. Fischer Möbel can adjust the rope length to your specific height upon request; just send us a message.

Colors

The frame is available in matt textured paint, in either stone grey or anthracite. You can choose the fm-rope upholstery in light grey or anthracite. Both combinations work well: tone-on-tone creates a calm look that almost disappears into the garden, while the contrast between a light rope and a dark frame makes the chair a real eye-catcher.

Included in delivery

In the version with frame, you will receive the seat shell, frame, two outdoor ropes, the mounting hardware, and the adjustment plates. The plates are used to adjust the seat height – a few centimeters make a surprising difference when getting in and out.

Cushions

Cushions are not included. Fischer Möbel offers seat cushions, seat and back cushions, as well as a Duo neck cushion in the collection's outdoor fabrics. Tell us which fabric group you are interested in – we will put the combination together for you and calculate the price.

Before you hang it up

If you choose a version without a frame: the suspension point must permanently support at least 150 kg, and dynamically so – a swinging chair exerts significantly more force than a static weight. A ceiling beam, a steel girder, or a structurally tested pergola are suitable; a suspended ceiling or simple wooden paneling are not. If in doubt, please consult your carpenter or send us a photo of your situation.

Also, make sure to factor in enough space all around for the chair to swing. With the frame, the chair takes up 150 × 150 cm and requires a height of 225 cm – measure this out on your patio with masking tape before you order.

Unsure which version suits your patio?
