Interior sun protection

Interior sun protection can do two things that exterior sun protection cannot: it reduces glare and it makes a room feel cozy. What it cannot do is keep out heat – by that point, the warmth is already inside the room.

That is why the honest answer is usually: exterior for the heat, interior for glare reduction and aesthetics. Only when combined do you get a room where you can actually work in July.

What we do

Pleated blinds, roller blinds, Venetian blinds, panel curtains, and vertical blinds. For straight windows as well as for sloped ceilings, triangles, and conservatories, where off-the-shelf solutions don't exist.

For roof windows and conservatories, it is worth looking into honeycomb pleated blinds: the air chambers provide additional insulation, in both summer and winter.

Opaque or semi-transparent

This is the question most people get stuck on. Semi-transparent fabrics keep the room bright while reducing glare. Opaque fabrics keep what happens inside hidden in the evening. For bedrooms, there are blackout fabrics that truly darken the room rather than just shading it.

We bring samples with us. You cannot tell how a fabric looks in your own lighting just by looking at a catalog.
