An awning provides shade exactly where you need it and disappears again when the sun is gone. That is the difference compared to a fixed roof. We work with Warema from Marktheidenfeld and Leiner, take the measurements ourselves, and handle installation in the area around Wasserburg am Inn.
Cassette, articulating arm, or pergola
The cassette awning retracts completely into a closed housing. The fabric and mechanisms are never exposed to the elements, making this the most durable design and the right choice for the weather-exposed side of a building.
The articulating arm awning features an open or semi-open construction; it is more affordable and lighter, but the fabric remains exposed when retracted. It is suitable for areas protected by an roof overhang.
The pergola awning runs in side guide rails and therefore withstands significantly more wind than a free-projecting awning. It is the solution for large widths, windy locations, and anywhere you don't want the awning to be retracted with every gust.
What determines your choice
Three things: width, wall, and wind. Beyond a width of about six meters, the construction becomes more complex. Walls with thermal insulation or brickwork require special mounting hardware. And the wind resistance class determines whether the awning can remain extended during gusts. That is why we visit your site to take a look before anything is ordered.
Light, heat, and automation
LED strips can be integrated into the cassette, and radiant heaters from ExtremeLine can be mounted on the front or on the wall above. Wind and sun sensors extend and retract the awning automatically. These features must also be determined at the time of ordering, as retrofitting is not possible for most models.
Frequently asked questions
How much does an awning cost?
That depends on width, projection, design, fabric, and motorization. You will only receive a reliable figure after the site measurement—which is precisely why there are no "starting at" prices listed here.
Can an awning withstand rain?
Yes, brief showers, provided it is mounted at a pitch so that the water can run off. It cannot withstand constant rain. Wet fabric must be extended and dried after the rain to prevent mold.
How long does it take from order to installation?
Every awning is made to measure. Expect several weeks; we will provide the exact date upon placing the order.
Do you also repair awnings from other manufacturers?
Yes. We are a master workshop for roller shutter and sun protection technology and also repair systems that we did not supply.
