A handheld transmitter for awnings, umbrellas, and heaters
Remote controls start to pile up: one for the awning, one for the external blind, one for the radiant heater. In most cases, however, these can be consolidated.
The transmitter is not part of the device
With radiant heaters, the receiver technology is built-in, but the transmitter is not included in the scope of delivery. This surprises many people when they place their first order. Important to know: One transmitter can control multiple devices. If you buy two or three heaters, you still only need one.
The four systems
ExRemote 2.0 is ExtremeLine's own radio system, available as a handheld transmitter and a wall-mounted transmitter. Bluetooth operates via a wireless wall transmitter and is practical if there is no other system in the house. Somfy io and Warema WMS are the two major systems in building technology – if your awning or external blind runs on these, you can use the same remote control for your radiant heaters.
How to find out what you have
Take a look at your existing remote control: If it says Somfy or has an io logo, it is Somfy io. For Warema, WMS is indicated on the transmitter. If you are unsure, send us a photo – that can be cleared up in a minute.
Order before you buy
The easiest way is to order the appropriate transmitter directly with the device. Then everything arrives together and we have pre-configured it for you.
