Leiner FINO or CENTO – what is the difference between these two cassette awnings
The FINO and the CENTO are the two cassette awnings from Leiner that we carry in our shop. Anyone who sees them side by side rightly asks: What is actually the difference?
The difference: the shape
The FINO has a gently rounded cassette. It appears soft and suits classic homes just as well as new buildings with plastered facades.
The CENTO is cubic and linear. Its clean edges fit modern architecture with flat roofs, large glass surfaces, or wooden facades.
What they have in common
Technically, both models are siblings. Both are available in widths from 200 to 650 cm and projections from 150 to 350 cm. Both have a fully enclosed cassette in which the fabric and mechanism are protected when the awning is retracted. The frame and side brackets are made of hardened aluminum, the electric motor is located inside the fabric roller, and the Safety Motion concept is included. The cassette height is approximately 17 cm.
There is also no difference in price: Leiner lists the FINO and CENTO at identical prices for every size.
Colors
For both models, 16 frame colors are available at no extra charge, from Pure White RAL 9010 to shades of gray and brown, through to black. Any other RAL color is available for an additional charge.
Our rule of thumb
Look at your house, not the awning. Round shapes, muntin windows, playful details: FINO. Clean lines, large windows, modern materials: CENTO.
