How long will it take until I can move in?

Those who decide on a Tiny House usually don't want to wait forever. The good news: you don't have to.

From the signing of the contract to moving in, it generally takes about six months. During this time, your house is completely pre-fabricated in a dry environment at the Köhldorfner carpentry workshop in Schnaitsee – meaning it is built almost entirely in a protected factory setting, not out on an open construction site in wind and weather.

The actual day of installation is quite an experience: the finished house arrives on a low-loader at our site in Wasserburg and is placed onto the prepared screw foundation by crane in a single day. No months of waiting for the shell construction, no scaffolding for weeks – by the evening, the house is standing.

After that, final connection work follows before it is truly ready for move-in. Two of our four houses have been there since August, and the last two spots are reserved – anyone who would like to see it live is welcome to visit us at the farm at any time.
