Can the tiny house be lived in during the winter?
Especially in our region, with its sometimes harsh winters, this is a valid and frequently asked question: does such a small house even stay warm?
Yes – and reliably so. The tiny houses are insulated to a high standard and are basically constructed like a full-fledged residential house, just much more compact. The timber-frame outer walls with well-thought-out insulation, the underfloor and natural stone heating, as well as the wooden windows with solar control glazing, ensure a stable, pleasant indoor climate – regardless of whether it is midsummer or sub-zero temperatures.
In addition, there is the decentralized ventilation system, which continuously provides fresh air without warm air simply escaping outside during ventilation. This makes a noticeable difference compared to simpler tiny house constructions, especially in winter.
As a result, our tiny houses are suitable not only for occasional weekend stays, but explicitly also for permanent living – in any season.
