What happens after the lease expires?

Unlike property ownership, a lease agreement has a set term. This is why the first question many interested parties ask is: what actually happens afterwards?

You choose the term yourself, between ten and twenty years – whichever fits your life plans best. Once it expires, you can decide on an individual basis whether the tiny house will remain on the plot – for example, through a contract extension – or be moved to another location.

This is precisely what makes tiny houses so much more flexible than a classic permanent home: your home can stay where it is, or simply be taken with you if your life circumstances change. This is made possible by the fact that the houses stand on screw foundations and are not permanently attached to the land.

For many of our clients, this flexibility is a real selling point – especially for those who do not want to tie themselves to one place for the next thirty years, but still do not want to go without a solid, permanent home of their own.
