Which bathroom mirror fits in my bathroom?
A bathroom mirror needs to do two things: provide good light and withstand moisture. Everything else is a matter of taste.
The Light
In the illuminated models from Deknudt Mirrors, warm white LED light is positioned indirectly behind the mirror surface. It does not glare and illuminates the room softly instead of casting shadows on the face – which is exactly what happens with a light above the mirror. It is switched on via a sensor in the mirror; you no longer need an additional lamp above the vanity.
The Heating Pad
Two models are available with an optional heating pad on the back. It keeps the surface clear, even after a long hot shower. If there is a lot of hot showering in your bathroom, this is the difference between wiping and using it.
Round or Square
Round mirrors soften the look of a small bathroom and fit well over narrow vanities. Square shapes are the tranquil choice for straight lines. Rule of thumb for the size: the mirror can be as wide as the vanity, but not wider.
Magnifying Mirror Without a Second Device
In the model with zoom, the magnifying mirror is not placed on the front surface but is integrated into the back. You rotate the mirror 360 degrees until the zoom side is where you need it. This saves you from having a second device with an articulated arm on the wall.
Damp Room and Safety
All bathroom mirrors are approved for damp rooms according to the IP44 protection class and are manufactured from European glass in Belgium.
