Denia dining table

Denia dining table: height 75 cm. Sizes: 100 × 100 cm (28 kg) and 220 × 100 cm (53 kg). Frame made of powder-coated aluminum in metallic gray, tabletop made of solid teak. Design: Jan Benöhr.

Scope of delivery: 1 Denia dining table in the selected size. Supplied disassembled.

A teak tabletop on an aluminum frame is a construction with an inherent conflict: the wood expands and contracts by several millimeters in width over the summer, while the metal does not. For this reason, the tabletop is not fixed rigidly to the frame, but sits with some play, and the gaps between the slats remain open. When they widen in the spring, everything is as it should be.

Eight people can sit comfortably at the 220 × 100 cm version, while the 100 × 100 cm version serves as a breakfast table. I like the metallic gray paired with the warm wood.

The aluminum frame in metallic gray is powder-coated and particularly easy to care for – a damp cloth is all it takes.

You can simply let the solid teak wood be: if left untreated, it will develop an elegant silver-gray patina over time. If you wish to maintain its warm honey tone, treat the wood with Weishäupl hard oil.

Clean the Batyline fabric and cushions with lukewarm water and a soft brush – this will keep Denia looking beautiful for years.

Delivery time: approx. 2 weeks (ex works, shipping is free of charge for you).
