Minu is a modular series – and modular series are the reason why there are 24 different covers here instead of one universal tarp. Each element has its own tailored cut, right down to the side where the backrest is located. This is elaborate, but it is the difference between a cover that fits and a sack that the first gust of wind blows over the fence. I haven't added covers to the range for a long time because most of what is available becomes brittle after two seasons. These ones are made of breathable fabric that lets moisture back out, and they are sewn at Weishäupl in Stephanskirchen – right around the corner from us. If you are not sure which element you have: Send me a photo, I will sort it out for you.

This is how the cover will stay tight and in shape for years:

• Cleaning: lukewarm water, mild soapy water, soft sponge or soft brush. Then let it dry completely before you put the cover back on.
• Before covering: Wipe furniture and upholstery dry and clean. Trapped moisture is the most common cause of mildew stains.
• Overwintering: The cover can stay outside all year round. The covers for the seating and lounge elements are designed so that the cushions can remain in place – although I still move loose cushions and pads into a dry place.
• Waterproofing: If the water repellency diminishes after a few years, refresh the clean, dry cover with a waterproofing spray for outdoor fabrics – never on wet fabric.
• Please do not use: washing machine, tumble dryer, high-pressure cleaner, fabric softener, solvents, scouring agents, or bleach. This damages the fabric and thus the weather protection.

A practical tip: Tighten the cord and cord stopper once before winter. A tightly fitting cover does not flap in a storm and therefore does not chafe.

Delivery time: approx. 3 weeks. Each protective cover is sewn to order at Weishäupl and shipped directly from the factory to you.

Shipping as a parcel within Germany and Austria: €9.90; free of charge on orders over €100. Freight forwarding is not necessary for protective covers – even if you order several covers at once.
