Viktorian bench

The Victorian bench is made of solid, untreated teak – weather-resistant, dimensionally stable and made for decades outdoors. Dimensions: 2-seater W 140 × D 55 × H 88 cm (seat height 44 cm, 30 kg), 3-seater W 174 × D 55 × H 88 cm (35 kg).

The matching seat cushions with removable fiber flake filling are available separately in many fabric colors.

This bench is a quotation: the English garden bench, as it has stood in parks for generations. Those who buy it are purchasing a shape they have long known, and that is perfectly fine.

The teak is solid and is delivered untreated. This leaves you with a decision that no one can make for you: if you let the bench weather, it will look silvery after two or three years and will require nothing more than occasional washing. If you want to keep the warm honey tone, you must oil it every year. Both are correct; you should just avoid constantly switching between them. The widths are 140 cm for the 2-seater and 174 cm for the 3-seater; you can select seat cushions here as well.

Untreated teak develops a natural silver-grey patina outdoors – a mark of quality, not a defect. Those who wish to maintain the warm wood tone should clean the bench in the spring with the Weishäupl wood cleaner set and treat it with hard oil.

Greyed teak can be refreshed with the wood brightener set.

Delivery time: 2-seater approx. 11 weeks, 3-seater approx. 5 weeks (ex works, shipping is free for you). With cushions: approx. 3 weeks (cushions are made to order); the longest delivery time applies.

2-seater expected to be back in stock from CW 39, 3-seater from CW 35.
