Regarding size: The external dimensions do not tell you much about whether your dog will fit. Measure them while they are lying down from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail and compare this to the 60 × 50 cm lying surface. This is plenty for small and medium-sized dogs. A large dog will lie with its legs over the edge, which does not bother many dogs – but you should be aware of this beforehand.

Regarding fabric categories: Fischer Möbel organizes its outdoor fabrics into four groups, which differ in material, weave, and appearance. The price does not consistently increase with the letter. Regarding location: Outdoor fabrics tolerate sun and moisture much better than indoor covers. However, constant rain is not suitable for a dog bed. A spot under a canopy or on a covered patio is the better solution, preferably where your dog can keep an eye on you. A bed in the wrong place will not be used, no matter how good it is.

Regarding the interior construction and whether the cover can be removed, we are intentionally making no statement here because it is not listed in the catalog. Ask us – we will clarify this with the manufacturer and let you know the facts before you order.

A note of advice: The key measurement is the 60 × 50 cm interior dimension, not the 90 × 75 cm exterior. The rim takes up quite a bit of space. Measure your dog while it is lying down before you order. And be sure to give the bed a sheltered spot – if it gets soaked, it dries more slowly than the weather might allow.

A dog bed is subjected to more wear and tear than a seat cushion. These points will help it keep looking neat for a long time.

• Regularly vacuum fur and sand or remove them with a fur brush. Otherwise, both will work their way into the fabric.
• Treat stains while as fresh as possible using lukewarm water and pH-neutral soap, working from the outside in.
• The exact cleaning recommendation depends on the fabric chosen. Tell us your fabric category, and we will provide you with the Fischer Möbel care instructions for that specific fabric.
• After a rain shower, set it up flat or lean it upright so that air can reach both sides. If left lying on the ground, the underside will barely dry.
• Over the winter, the bed belongs in a dry house or shed. Unlike the furniture itself, it is not an item that should overwinter outdoors.

Slight color changes due to sunlight are normal for outdoor fabrics and are not a defect. They are less noticeable if the bed is positioned to receive even light and not left half in the shadow of a house wall.

Delivery time: approximately 3 to 6 weeks. Fischer Möbel manufactures to order; the bed is upholstered in your chosen fabric and is not kept in stock.

Delivery is free of charge for you. The bed is delivered as a single, bulky but lightweight package via parcel service. If you order it together with furniture, everything will be shipped together by freight forwarder – please let us know if the bed should arrive beforehand.

Please inspect the shipment upon delivery and have any visible transport damage noted directly on the delivery note or waybill. This is the basis for any claim against the carrier.
