The Fischer Möbel Wing light Relax Sofa is a two-seater for outdoor use. It is 177.5 cm wide, 96 cm deep, and 59 cm high, with a seat height of 38 cm. The seat and back are covered with fm-rope, a braided 5 mm outdoor rope that allows air and water to pass through and dries on its own.

You can choose between a fully powder-coated aluminum frame in anthracite or white, or a version with a teak base and an aluminum seat frame.

Regarding the seating position: With a seat height of 38 cm and a depth of 96 cm, you sit low and reclined. The backrest ends at 59 cm, so there is no head support. This is a deliberate design choice by the manufacturer in favor of a flat silhouette. If you would like to lean your head back, you should add the Wing light Relax armchair with its 110 cm high backrest.

Regarding the cushions: The seat and back cushion (item no. 302) is designed for this sofa and is not included in the delivery. It is available in the Select fabrics Pebble and Granite as well as fabric categories A to D. Please factor this in from the start if you intend to use the sofa as lounge furniture.

Regarding space requirements: 177.5 × 96 cm is not a small piece of furniture. Before ordering, mark the area on your patio with masking tape and check the path to get there. At 18 kg, the weight is not the problem, but rather the diagonal clearance in hallways and doorways.

Regarding the series: The Wing light Relax armchair has the same seat height of 38 cm, and the Wing light stool at 36 cm fits perfectly in front as a footrest. When combining items, please note that the sofa is not available in the rope color jasmine.

What convinced me about this sofa is its height: 59 centimeters, no more. Most outdoor sofas are significantly higher and, on a small terrace, stand in the way like a wall. This one stays below the line of sight, keeping the garden behind it visible.

This comes with an honest trade-off: at 59 centimeters, you can lean back, but you cannot rest your head. Those who like to relax their neck in the evening are better off with the lounge chair. And you should budget for the seat and back cushions – the sofa is usable without them, but they are what make it what you buy it for.

The frame and fabric are built for permanent outdoor use. Maintenance is low, but there are still a few things you should know.

• Cleaning the wicker: rinse with clear water and a soft brush; use pH-neutral soap for heavier soiling. Do not use a high-pressure cleaner or abrasive agents.
• With a surface area of 177.5 cm, more leaves will collect in the wicker than on an armchair. Sweep them away regularly in the autumn; otherwise, damp leaves will leave marks.
• Cleaning the frame: use a soft cloth, clear water, and a mild cleaner. Repair paint damage promptly.
• Teak wood: if left untreated, it will turn a silvery grey. If you wish to maintain the brown tone, clean the wood in the spring and apply oil once or twice a year.
• Check and tighten screw connections once a year. The frame of a two-seater is subject to more stress than an individual piece of furniture because the weight is distributed unevenly.
• Bring seat and back cushions inside after use or store them in a dry place. They are the only part that should not be left in the rain permanently.
• Overwintering: The sofa may be left outside, in a sheltered, slightly elevated spot. Use cover 15-113 to cover it; do not use plastic sheeting, as condensation will form underneath.

Slight colour changes in the wicker due to sunlight are normal and not a defect. If a rope chafes, please contact us before improvising – we can obtain spare parts through Fischer Möbel.

Delivery time: approx. 3 to 6 weeks. Fischer Möbel manufactures to order. Your combination of frame and rope color is only built after your order is placed.

Delivery is carried out by a forwarding agent to the curb and is free of shipping costs for you. The sofa weighs 18 kg and measures 177.5 × 96 cm. Two people can carry it with ease – but check the path beforehand: doors, narrow hallways, and stair landings are the real issue here, not the weight.

Let us know when ordering if delivery is difficult: narrow access road, backyard, stairs, or if no no-parking zone can be set up. We will then coordinate this with the forwarding agent in advance.

Please check the shipment upon delivery and have any visible transport damage noted directly on the consignment note. This is the only basis for a claim against the forwarding agent.
